| Sunbrella™.....Sunbrella
Acrylic by Glen Raven Mills has long been the fabric of choice by canvas and
sailmakers. Its ability to withstand the effects of ultraviolet light from
the sun make it the best choice for dodgers, bimini's, tops and awnings.
Breathability and resistance to shrinkage add to the function of this fabric.
Care Sunbrella should be cleaned regularly. Brush off loose
dirt, hose down and clean with a mild solution of natural soap and cold
water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. Do not use heat to
dry. Do not use Detergents. For stubborn stains, soak for
approximately twenty minutes in a solution of 1/2 cup non-chlorine bleach, 1/4
cup of natural soap per gallon of water. Rinse well. Seamark™.....When ultimate waterproofness is desired, some breathability is sacrificed. Seamark offers the combination of Sunbrella for ultraviolet protection and the waterproofness of vinyl. We use this fabric in the tops of enclosures to assure waterproofness and combine it with original Sunbrella for the side curtains to give us the desired breathing qualities. Available in most Sunbrella colors. Care Seamark may be cleaned using the same techniques as for Sunbrella. The inner vinyl surface may be cleaned using vinyl cleaner such as SprayNine or other similar vinyl care product available from your marine dealer. Stamoid™.....The ultimate in strength to weight ration is achieved with Stamoid. When weight is important, this vinyl fabric will offer a strong and lightweight alternative to its heavier counterparts. With a cold crack of -20F, covers that are used in extreme temperatures can be fabricated and will remain supple. With superior UV treatment, lightweight mooring covers can be built which are more easily managed. Care Stamoid can be cleaned with a mild solution of natural soap and cold water. For stubborn stains, use any general purpose vinyl cleaner.
